Our story
Made in Redmond, Oregon
Rhino Skin Solutions started in Bend in 2015. Everything we sell is made, packed and shipped from our own shop in Redmond.
Where it started
The first formula was Repair cream. We had products we liked because they worked, but they called themselves clean and were packed with ingredients we didn't want. We figured we could make a better one. So we did.
Formulated by a pharmacist, built by a chef
Justin Brown is the chef. He builds each formula the way a good recipe gets built: a short list, every ingredient there for a reason. Andi Brown is the pharmacist, Justin's wife and co-founder, and she reviews every formula.
Small batches
We make it in small batches in our own facility, then pack and ship it from the same building. Small batches keep it fresh and keep it working.
The kitchen rule
You don't eat things with weird ingredients. Your skin, muscles and joints shouldn't either.

Sun on the roof
The Redmond shop runs on a rooftop solar array and low-power equipment, 100% on-site solar.
One percent back
We give 1% of sales to nonprofits and are a member of 1% for the Planet. Some of the groups we support are Smith Rock Group and several climbers' alliances.
Less plastic
Our bottles are made with 30% recycled plastic. The 16 oz refill pouch uses 73% less plastic than bottles, and fills any of our reusable bottles.
