A teenager at the top of the World Cup.
Annie Sanders was climbing at ten months old, in Fort Worth, with two parents who climb. At fourteen she won three world youth titles at once, in bouldering, lead and combined, and that fall she flashed Omaha Beach, an 8b+ at the Red River Gorge. In 2022 she won both senior national titles in her first elite season.
She reached her first World Cup final in 2023 and won her first World Cup, in Seoul, in October 2024. Lead gold in Madrid in 2025 made her the first American woman to win World Cups in both disciplines. In 2026 she has five more golds: Wujiang, Prague twice, Innsbruck and Chamonix.
Annie is a member of the Rhino Pro Team.
