Disc Golf Grip, Skin & Recovery | Rhino Skin Solutions
Disc golf · Skin is gear

Hole 14, humid, and the rim slips early.

A drive you've thrown clean a thousand times, gone wide because the hand was damp. Or it's 38 degrees, three hours in, and a callus on the release finger finally lets go. Rhino started because we were tired of losing good days to skin that wasn't ready.

Skin is gear
Where this started

A thousand throws off one side.

Disc golfers found Rhino through the sweaty-hands problem, same as climbers, and stayed for the rest of it. A round is hundreds of grips on a plastic rim, and the release finger takes all of them. In the humid months the hand runs and the rim slips. In the cold months the callus cracks. And every one of those throws loads the same shoulder, lat, and forearm on the same side, week after week.

The kit is grip, protect, recover. Sweat control the night before a tourney so the rim sits the same on 18 as on 1. File the calluses flat so they can't catch. Work the throwing arm on the drive home. You already dial the bag. Dial the body too.

A round, hole by hole

Where the hand goes wrong on the course.

Eighteen holes in five stops, and what goes on at each.

The night before · 9 PMDry hands show up dry.

Performance or Dry Spray on the throwing hand before bed, no aluminum. Less towel, cleaner release tomorrow.

Hole 1 · TeeFile first.

Calluses flat before the round, not after. The release finger shouldn't have an edge that catches.

Hole 9 · TurnCheck the hot spot.

Tape it before it's a blister. Split stick on a crack that opened on a cold drive.

Hole 18 · FinishHydrate the glassy hand.

Sun and wind have dried it out. A spray and a shake before the last drive.

The drive home · AfterWork the arm.

Massage Cream on the forearm, shoulder, and lats. The ring for grip-tired fingers. The roller for the hips that load every drive.

Field reports

From the comments.

★★★★★
“My hands were sweaty enough to be uncomfortable for everyday life, much less hard climbing on slopers. This has been a game changer.”
★★★★★
“Not greasy, rubs right in, smells great, and most importantly, it does an amazing job at repairing the skin.”
★★★★★
“It gives my fingers a break from feeling so sore and beat, especially after the climbing session I just had. After five minutes I'm thoroughly impressed by the relief I feel.”
