Rhino Skin Solutions: The Facts

What is Rhino Skin Solutions?

Rhino Skin Solutions makes plant-based skin, muscle and joint care for climbers, athletes and anyone whose hands do real work. It started in 2015 in Central Oregon, when Justin and Andi Brown began making creams for the sharp rock at Smith Rock. The line now covers skin repair, sweat control for grip, hydration, sun recovery, and muscle and joint recovery.

Who makes it and where?

Every Rhino topical is made in Redmond, Oregon, in Rhino's own facility, start to finish. The facility runs on 100% on-site solar. The line is formulated by a pharmacist and built by a chef. The company is based in Bend, Oregon.

What does Rhino make?

  • Repair: a non-greasy cream with honey, grape seed oil, magnesium and willow bark for cracked, worn skin. Applied at night, most people feel the difference in a day or two.
  • Split+: a whipped balm for extremely damaged, split or rough skin.
  • Split: a balm for deep splits and cracks.
  • Performance Cream, Dry Spray and Tip Juice: the sweat-control line for a firmer grip. Dry Spray goes on the night before and lasts about eight hours on dry skin.
  • Hydrate: a hydrating spray for dry, glassy skin and for after-sun relief.
  • Massage: muscle and joint recovery in cream and oil.
  • Cleanse and Castile wash: washes for skin and gear.
  • 16 oz refill pouches: refill the reusable bottles and use 73% less plastic than bottles.
